Korumburra Golf Club is set amongst the rolling hills of the lower Strzlecki Ranges.  The course is located approximately 4 kilometres from the Korumburra town centre, along Warragul Road.  With a beautiful array of trees, the steeply undulating and lightly bunkered 18 hole course is a challenge to both members and visitors.
There’s no challenge quite like the Korumburra challenge. Whether it is the 205m long, 50m down Par 3 10th, or the many cross water shots, Korumburra will test all your shot playing ingenuity.
Nestled in the hills above the township of Korumburra, Korumburra Golf Club is a wonderfully scenic course that is challenging but not impossibly so. The course has been described by visitors in many ways, but the thing you hear most often is that no two holes are the same. The grass greens are undulating and test player’s concentration. Korumburra Golf Club was founded in 1913. The club moved to its present site in 1935. Until 1950 it was a links course, but in the early 50’s the committee began planting trees, many of which are still alive. The tree planting has continued over the years, with a wide variety of trees. Because of that, it is a birdwatchers delight. The members are famous for their hospitality to visitors, who are welcome to play in all competitions. Competition days are Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday for men and Wednesday and Saturday for ladies. Green fee players are also made to feel most welcome. There are clubs and carts available for hire. Phone 0356 551886 to book a time. We try and ensure Korumburra Golf Club is part of the community. In addition to golf, the clubhouse is used by the local darts association, Probus Club and a self defence class. We are hopeful of putting a walking and cycling track on the course in the near future. Try Korumburra Golf Club, a great course in a great town.

Spectacular towering gums peer down onto any visiting golfers at the tiny Latrobe Valley town of Mirboo North. This is the only town on the Grand Ridge Road and on the Strzelecki Highway that links the two regions of Latrobe and South Gippsland. One of the most historic and picturesque townships in the region, Mirboo North is decorated with works of an artist who has captured the era of days gone by.

Situated in the Heart of the Strezelecki Ranges a pleasant 90 minutes drive from Dandenong using either the Princess Freeway via Trafalgar or the South Gippsland Highway via Leongatha. There is no need to book – just turn up and share our 18 hole golf course and facilities. Regular Saturday morning competitions draw a good crowd of locals and visitors.
The course is an especially unique challenge that belies its low slope rating. The Par 71 for Men and 73 for Ladies present the difficulty of a fast running sideslope on many holes. Most famous is the ‘Plum Pudding’ Par 3 16th, a 160m/ 110m long, downhill teeshot on an inverted bowl shaped green. Many holes provide spectacular views of the Strzelecki Ranges’ hills and farmland. The course record is only 69, a testament of the difficulty of the course.
